Real Wedding on the Slopes in Vermont

I know that Spring is here and all the snow is gone here in Ottawa, but this February wedding was submitted to me from a photographer in Vermont and I HAD to post it. Isn’t this wedding unreal?! Between the incredible view, the attention to detail and the coolest trash-the-dress action photography ever, I was so impressed! The snowflake motif, rockin’ bride, and great venue really made me smile. Here’s the amazing story from the photographer, Kathleen Landwehrle:

Snowboarding sweethearts Corinne and Brandon said their vows at Stowe Mountain Lodge in Stowe, Vermont. The couple shared a first run down Stowe Mountain under the gondola. Stowe was a perfect choice for these snow birds. When Brandon decided he wanted to propose he picked a place Corinne always wanted to visit – Switzerland. Strapped into a snowboard he got down on both knees, in the middle of the Swiss Alps, and proposed. With the same spirit the two shared a run at Stowe in their wedding attire. Corinne even brought a separate dress special for the occasion. From the slopes to the lodge we had an absolute blast.

  1. I just can’t believe the bride nd groom enjoying the awesome slides after the marriage. It wud have been very thoughtful if they had had their names under the skates board that way it wud have been a great reminder of this funfilled marriage

  2. WOW! Everything that I would have ever wanted in a wedding, this brie had. I love the fact that she didn’t carry a bouquet, but a white muff…love it! The capes that the bridesmaids and Moms wore were great, the view and the venue, fabulous. This bride put a lot of thought into her event. The photographer did a fantastic job and captured some awesome moments. Thanks for the post.
